Why using the search term Network Scam is pointless.

  • It’s already used up by good guys
  • …. and unfortunately bad guys posing as good guy
  • Result ….. doing effective due diligence is almost impossible.

When you enter Network Scam or any other scam related keyword into a search, do you find much useful information about scams?  Most of it will be websites and blogs promoting countless network marketing opportunities.  The secret to internet marketing success is having an audience.

Skilled internet marketers (good guys and bad guys) build their marketing material around popular search phrases like Network Scam.  You type in those keywords hoping to find helpful information.  You want to know the key things to look for to avoid scams, but what you find is more business opportunities being promoted.

Try searching for any negative information about any Network Marketing company on the net and you will not find much, even if it is a scam.  The reason, there are thousands of skilful internet marketers out there (good and bad) who have saturated all the keywords that you would expect to able to use to get the information you are looking for.

Even if you could find the information, how helpful would it be?  Can you trust the information?  The internet is rife with unhelpful information and untruths.  It’s uncensored and anyone can say anything about any business.

Want to know the Real Truth about how many scams there are out there?

Well the truth is, I have no idea and neither does anyone else.  15,000 use the search term Network Scam looking for answers and the unfortunate and boring truth on this one is that nobody knows.  Every website and every guru gives a different figure and a different percentage.

There is not even agreement on what a scam is.  The most honest Network Marketing business on earth will be a scam to some people because they signed up but were too lazy to make it work, and they label it a scam when they make no money.  That same business will also inevitably have some dodgy distributors who sign people up on untruths, so to those signees, it is a scam.  So who decides what a scam is and what is not?  It’s an incredibly subjective area.

So what is the solution?

It’s simple, education.  Learn about the industry.  Learn about Internet Marketing.  Learn the big picture stuff about Network Marketing overall.  Learn the rules of the game before you try to play the game.

2 reasons

  1. Being educated about the Network Marketing Industry will heighten your awareness meaning scams and dodgy upliners will absolutely and truly just stand out to you like bright red beacons on a dark night.  The scams will just look and feel different, as will dodgy upliners.
  2. Until that time comes where your own awareness can keep you safe, through your education, you will cross paths with industry leaders, true leaders, trustworthy people with opinions you can trust.

The Internet Marketing industry is full of great people who will be more than happy to help you get educated about Internet Marketing, whether you join their business or not.  Rather than pitch their own business opportunity to you, those with the highest integrity will encourage you promote something on the internet that you are passionate about.

Successful Network Marketing is obviously and literally about networking.  If you get educated by the right people, you will initially be networking with experienced and skilled internet marketers.  They will help you and you will be able to trust their opinions.  We have all been where you are now, and we never have and never will forget that.  We all typed in Network Scam once as well :)
